Do you want to know the most common question I'm asked at live sales events? It's "What's that purple stuff?"
This is Holley Blue Agate. The name is a little misleading because most of it is a lavender to almost grape jelly purple, the later being the most highly sought-after.
Not only is it rare, but it's getting rarer every day because the place we used to mine it in Linn County Oregon has been closed to public digging since the 90's and there's no other source.
This ring features a large 12ct piece of some of the juiciest purple agate you've ever seen. It's set in a sterling silver bezel, and wow, does it pop!
I have quite a few pieces made with this stone, but this one is special.

14k Gold 3.7ct Oregon Sunstone Studs
These stunning Oregon Sunstone studs in solid 14k gold 10 prong settings. The stones are slightly pinkish 8mm stones with a slight copper schiller.
14k gold is a great option when you want that buttery gold color without the expense of 18 or 20k gold.
This set is perfectly balanced to be perfect for day-to-day wear at the office and elegant enough for a night on the town.

3 coil Oregon Pink Opal and Sunstone memory wire bracelet
Here's a very pretty memory wire bracelet with three coils. It's a fairly simple design but elegant and easy to wear.
It's a sterling silver plated memory wire with Oregon Sunstone and Oregon Pink opal beads. The material for the opal beads comes from the Pink Lady opal mine near John Day, and the Oregon Sunstone is from the rabbit basin in Lake County, Oregon.
I just love the variation in color on this material. From very light pink and white to almost a maroon color.
The bracelet is just barely big enough for even a large man like myself to wear, but on a much smaller person, it's going to fit much better.
The ends are finished with a pink opal bead on each, dangling from a welded sterling silver end.

A larger 8mm champagne Oregon Sunstone faceted bead, topped by a cute little pinkish schiller bead and a tiny silver one. All set in sterling silver.
Pretty, fashionable and able to go easily from office, to a night out at a moments notice.
Oregon “Neopolitan” earrings
I'm calling these earrings "Oregon Neopolitan" because of the colors of the stones.
All three stones are Oregon natives. The first is "Vanilla" (or clear) Oregon Sunstone. The second is a "Chocolate" Oregon Fire Opal from Opal Butte near John Day. The third pink stone, you may not be familiar with. It's a pink common opal, also found near Opal Butte from the Pink Lady mine. This one, I call "Strawberry" pink opal. It's rounded out by another sweet "Vanilla" Oregon Sunstone bead.
All set on sterling silver wire, hand fashioned and micro welded together.
Oregon Sunstone and moissanite ring set in 14k Rose Gold
An exquisite 3.53ct Oregon Sunstone with luscious dark pink color and schiller, set in 14k rose gold with a moissanite halo.
