“Jelly Purple” 12ct Holley Blue Agate ring in sterling
Do you want to know the most common question I'm asked at live sales events? It's "What's that purple stuff?"
This is Holley Blue Agate. The name is a little misleading because most of it is a lavender to almost grape jelly purple, the later being the most highly sought-after.
Not only is it rare, but it's getting rarer every day because the place we used to mine it in Linn County Oregon has been closed to public digging since the 90's and there's no other source.
This ring features a large 12ct piece of some of the juiciest purple agate you've ever seen. It's set in a sterling silver bezel, and wow, does it pop!
I have quite a few pieces made with this stone, but this one is special.
Holley Blue Agate studs in 925 sterling silver
These cute little studs are just the right size for an extra color pop when you need it.
Featuring two 4mm Holley Blue Agate cabochons, a rare stone that is in very short supply.
Holley Blue Agate used to be mined near Sweethome Oregon, but the location has been closed to mining for over 30 years.
Though the stone is known as Holley Blue, the color is amazing with a soft lavender hue and a surprising pink/peach undertone. The stones are polished to a mirror finish and, in some cases, exhibit striations of white or darker gray as each one is slightly different.
Metaphysically, Holley Blue is believed to help with Emotional Balance: With its gentle colors, Purple Agate is believed to provide emotional equilibrium, helping to stabilize mood swings and nurture a sense of inner peace. Oregon Sunstone and moissanite ring set in 14k Rose Gold
An exquisite 3.53ct Oregon Sunstone with luscious dark pink color and schiller, set in 14k rose gold with a moissanite halo.

This ring is a US size 7 but can be easily resized if need be by any competent jeweler.

Oregon Sunstone and red Swarovski glass beaded earrings in sterling silver
These earrings feature two beautifully faceted champagne Oregon Sunstone beads and a red Swarovski glass bead on each. Finished with a 1" long sterling silver feather and all sterling silver wire.

Oregon Sunstone was revered by the indigenous people of Oregon who used it in medicine wheel ceremonies and often would bury their dead with this sacred stone.
The folklore is that one day, a great warrior was injured by an enemies arrow. As he fell to the ground, his blood stained the crystals, inbuing them with his spirit (thus, the red color of some Oregon Sunstone).

These Red and dark pink Oregon Sunstones are the star of the show though. The trillion cut is about 1.5ct and it's a very nice dark red that usually goes for about $500/ct. The oval is about 2ct and more of a dark pink and typically gets sold for about $100/ct.
This was a pair of earrings until I lost one at a tradeshow. Added this cute little bale though and selling the pendant. Get $950 worth of gorgous Oregon Sunstones, set into a stunning piece of jewelry for a bargain price!
